I have created this simple tool to help people create a better CV. I am not a recruiter but have spent a lot of time hiring people for my development teams and so often have come across CVs which are in such a bad state they just end up in the bin.

Most CV builders are shit. They try to give the candidates the choice of templates, widgets, graphs, and other junk. None of these things should ever be used on a CV. Not icons, colors, diagrams, photos, and other crap like this. A CV doesn't need to be fancy; it needs to be clear, concise, and functional, and that's what stands out. If you want to get fancy, you can create a portfolio to showcase your design skill; please don’t do it on your CV.
